The curriculum
is constantly being developed to utilise resources and expertise, and
to meet the individual needs of St Anthony's students.
Preparatory
to Year 10
At St Anthony's we use the structure of the Curriculum and Standards
Framework II (CSFII), which describes what students should know and
be able to do at regular intervals from Preparatory year (Level 1) to
Year 10 (level 6).
The CSFII
is structured in key learning areas (KLA's) strands and levels. The
eight key learning areas are:
- The Arts
- English, including English as a second language (ESL)
- Health and Physical Education
- Languages Other than English (LOTE) i.e. Arabic
- Mathematics
- Science
- Studies of Society and Environment (SOSE)
- Technology
The College is also committed to the Religious Education of its students
through the teachings of the Coptic Orthodox faith and language.
